SUMMARY:Waldo Lake Weekend
DESCRIPTION:### Please arrive with your own vehicle or arrange for your own carpooling. Campsites are not reservable after Labor Day so the sites are first come first served. You are responsible for paying for your own camping site\, about $22/night. ###\nThis is a 3-day (2-night) camping trip to Waldo Lake. Day hikes for the trip will be determined around the Friday night campfire.\nFriday 13th: arrive at Waldo Lake on your own schedule. We will be camping at the southern-most campground on the lake (Shadow Bay Campground). Sites in Loop B will be our first choice; with Loop C and D as alternates. If Shadow Bay is unexpectedly closed we will find space in the North Waldo Campground. There is a full Harvest Moon tonight – possible night hike. \nSaturday 14th: Hike as needed. For those who wish\, they can try to the find the Waldo Tree. If you know where it is\, please don’t spoil the fun for those who want to locate it. Participants are given a general direction\, two photos\, no map (yes\, the tree can be found).  \nSunday 15th: Hike as desired; return home on your own schedule.
