SUMMARY:Thompson Mill Loop
DESCRIPTION:Meet at the historic site Thompson flour mill on Boston Mill Road near Shedd.      https://goo.gl/maps/PvbHhzAi3TCo73mW8\nTrip departs at 10am and heads West toward Shedd then north to Tangent and finishes the loop back to Thompson Mill.\nThe ride is flat and then flatter with the only hills being the Freeway overpasses.\nPasses through farmland that is mostly grass seed and hay farming\nWe will stop in Pioneer Park in Tangent to snack before returning south toward the Mill\nThe trip is shown in RidewithGPS as a route and cue sheet. SUMMARY:Vivian Lake
DESCRIPTION:We’ll park at Salt Creek Falls and hike up the left side of “Too Much Bear” Lake. On return will loop left via Diamond Creek Falls and back down to Salt Creek. My opinion: route is challenging\, almost 4 miles up hill to the lake. The first 2 miles are moderate\, but the 2nd half is strenuous. The plan had been to take a relaxing break at the lake before heading back\, now that will based on weather. If the weather doesn’t hold\, we might turn around at Fall Creek Falls.
