SUMMARY:Spring Basin Bkpk
DESCRIPTION:This is an Eastern Oregon moderate elevation hike through pristine sage and rimrock in the Spring Basin BLM Wilderness in John Day country. We will depart Friday afternoon from the BLM Trailhead about 5 miles from Clarno\, OR. I will be coming up from Randy’s Painted Hills excursions just prior. It is a 4 hour drive to TH from Eugene.  \nLeaving the TH\, hike 4 mi following faint tread eastward up side canyon and over crest into Spring Basin and camp. Saturday\, explore southeast into Hay Bottom and remote Eagle Canyon. Sunday\, return hike over crest to TH. \n Meetup/Departure Location: Spring Basin BLM Trailhead

SUMMARY:Diamond Peak- Graduation Climb
