Silver Falls-Trail of Ten Falls
This is a wonderful hike with 10 major waterfalls, some of which we will walk behind. The canyon should be lush with greenery and spring wildflowers. Our hike will start at the North Falls parking lot. Lunch break is planned for the South Falls Lodge (about 5 miles in) where food/beverages can be purchased at the Snack bar and there is usually a fire going, if warmth is needed.
There has been a partial trail closure due to winter storm damage, limiting visitors to viewing 8 of 10 waterfalls. The entire trail may be open by the time we arrive.
An Oregon State Parks annual or $5 daily pass is required for each car. Daily passes can be purchased on site; the group will share the daily pass expense.
