Lone Wolf Shelter and Patterson Mountain provide timber, wildflowers and a view from the 4460 foot top of the mountain. It's a 40 mile drive from LCC, with the last 8 miles climbing to the ridgetop. The road is gravel and driveable with a couple of slow potholes, 80 round trip miles, $8.80 pay to the drivers.This is medium difficulty, 4.6 miles round trip, 600 feet elevation gain. |

This is a walk of the Eugene Millrace. The Millrace is the historic center of Eugene's industrial beginnings. Today, much of the millrace has been paved over and what remains is often overlooked by passers-by. We will have a closer look. |
