Santiam Wagon Road/House Rock
The historic Santiam Wagon was designed to lead settlers and their livestock eastward to the pasture lands of Central Oregon and to markets in eastern Oregon and Idaho. It became a major east-west byway through Cascades. This year the Trips Committee intends to have hikes all along this route.
