Join our 15th annual New Year's Hike that continues a long Club tradition. There will be two other departure times and locations. NOTE*** IF YOU ARE ON THE WAIT LIST, YOU CAN STILL COME. WE JUST HAVE TO HAVE PEOPLE SPREAD OUT. THE CITY DOESN'T WANT GROUPS LARGER THAN 20, BUT THERE IS NO LIMIT ON INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE OUT TO DO THE HIKE AND JUST RUN INTO FOLKS THEY KNOW.

We will start on time at 7:00 am. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time. This hike to the top of Spencer Butte takes the less traveled route from Blanton Road. We'll cross Blanton Ridge before continuing on from the 52nd and Willamette trailhead. And then to the Spencer Butte summit.

We do this hike from the Martin Street Trailhead to the summit of Spencer Butte every Wednesday. Compared to starting at the paved Spencer Butte parking lot, this hike has double the climbing and three times the distance.
